A Brief History
Network Professionals has been in business for over 8 years, originally established in 1996 as a Marketing Services company providing sales, marketing, and promotional services to direct selling companies.
Over a 5 year period, we worked with several regional and national companies in their start-up phase - setting up and training sales teams nationwide, and developing and executing marketing programs to enhance their offerings.
Our company's efforts directly produced over $7 million in sales for these companies over this time period.
In 1998, we expanded our service offering, this time becoming a partner in a start-up business, responsible for setting up and running internal operations. It was during this time that we became more involved with computer systems and small networks.
In 2002, we adjusted our focus away from from sales, marketing, and promotions and began offering computer and network services to a new client base to capitalize on the growing technology market. Developments in the internet, software, and computer networking created a need and made it affordable for small businesses to participate in and benefit from what large businesses had been using for years - networks.
We were quickly inundated with service requests from many clients needing our help. After only a few months in operation, we could not handle all of the requests we were receiving, and made the decision to focus our efforts on a few clients. This model allowed us to provide a high level of excellent quality service and become partners with our customers - truely almost like an in-house IT department. As a result of the close working relationship we develped, we better understood our client's needs and goals. This now allowed us to better operate within our philosophical boundries - provide honest high quality service, always doing what's best for the customer first, and your business will grow long term as a result. We pride ourselves on making proper recomendations while always looking out for their best interest as our first priority. While many companies (in any industry) operate with the more short-term philosophy of doing what makes the moset money the fastest, we take a completely different approach.
As a result of our superior service with one of our clients, we were asked to take responsibility for LED freeway signage in San Leandro, which was operating poorly at the time due to improper computer programming and mismanagement of the entire system. Within 30 days, we had the system operating perfectly. This has led to an expansion in this area because of our reputation and expertise.
Today, we serve several small businesses, providing quality personalized service taylored to each of their respective businesss needs.
